Students enjoy some of the most modern housing at one of Florida's oldest, most established historic universities. Ninety percent of housing is less than ten years old. The majority is suite style living.

Character & Location

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized comprehensive, private university located on approximately 40 hectares of prime riverfront land in the heart of downtown Tampa. It is the school of choice for 10,500 students from 50 states and territories and approximately 130 countries. About a third of its undergraduates are from Florida. Approximately 70% of UT's full-time students live on campus.

The University offers more than 120 area of undergraduate study through a strong core curriculum rooted in the Liberal Arts. Graduate degrees are offered for Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology, Master of Education, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Marketing and Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science. The MBA program is one of the largest in Florida, and UT is one of the elite private schools in the Southeast to have AACSB accreditation.

UT students enjoy a combination of academic excellence, personal attention and real-world experience. An innovative first-year program helps new students fit in quickly. Internship and community service opportunities abound and an Honors Program offers undergraduates expanded opportunities for instruction and study abroad. Undergraduate: $6,000-$12,000: International student scholarship award is based upon evaluation of a student's academic records during admission process. (2022-2023)

ELS Students

Undergraduate: $6,000-$12,000: ELS EAP Level 112 graduates receive a scholarship award every year for the duration of degree study. Requirements for this scholarship - ELS Academic Director's recommendation and minimum GPA. (2022-2023)

Graduate: Graduate Assistantships available based on GMAT or GRE and GPA. Selected candidates will be invited to apply (2022-2023)
