      How do I arrange for Airport Pickup?

      The ELS Central Admissions Department arranges the airport transfer, but the Counselor will need to provide important information about the student.

      Please follow the following 2 steps:

      Step 1: 

      Please have the following information regarding your student:

      • Student name (ELS ID number is also requested - if known)
      • ELS Center location to attend
      • Airline name (for arrival into the final destination)
      • Flight number and airport name (or code)
      • Port of Entry into the USA (if different from final destination)
      • Anticipated time of arrival and date

      Step 2: 

      After collecting all of the information from Step 1, please email these details to your ELS Central Admissions Advisor.

      • ELS/Cleveland is an "A" Center

      		 Baggage Claim near bottom of escalator. Driver will hold sign with student's name (English letters).
      International:
      		 Baggage Claim near bottom of escalator. Driver will hold sign with student's name (English letters).

      For APU, please proceed to the baggage claim area, where the driver will be waiting holding a sign with the student's name.

      Other Transportation from Airport

      Taxis from the airport to the campus will cost approximately $52 plus tip, with a travel time of 35 minutes.

      Homestays in the area
      (Homestay)      		 Sunday, 12:00pm - 6:00pm Saturday, 10:00am - 12:00pm
      Check-in: If using our APU provider, the students will be dropped off right at their homestay address, where they will be greeted by their family. If not using our APU provider, students have to arrange their own transportation. Students without an APU booking should contact the homestay provider or the center prior to their arrival.
      Check-out: Arrangements will be made with the homestay family. Keys will be give back directly to the family.
      Cleveland Student Residence
      (Student Residence (off campus))      		 9:00am-8:00pm 12:00pm
      Students should check in at their reserved location. The keys are handed to students by a local team representative. All students should convey their arrival information at least 72 hours prior to the arrival.

      Center Registration

      On the first day (Monday) of registration and orientation: All new students should arrive to the center at 8:15 am to register for classes, and attend orientation. Students will be emailed a link to the Placement Test prior to arrival.

      If a holiday falls on a first Monday, ELS Centers will be open only to register newly arriving students.

      • Passport
      • A copy of I-20 Form
      • Funds to pay all remaining fees at ELS
      • Proof of medical insurance (if not purchased through ELS)
