How do I arrange for Airport Pickup?

The ELS Central Admissions Department arranges the airport transfer, but the Counselor will need to provide important information about the student.

Please follow the following 2 steps:

Step 1: 

Please have the following information regarding your student:

  • Student name (ELS ID number is also requested - if known)
  • ELS Center location to attend
  • Airline name (for arrival into the final destination)
  • Flight number and airport name (or code)
  • Port of Entry into the USA (if different from final destination)
  • Anticipated time of arrival and date

Step 2: 

After collecting all of the information from Step 1, please email these details to your ELS Central Admissions Advisor.

The APU driver will be waiting at the information desk in baggage claim holding a sign with the student's name on it.

Check-in: Homestay family contact information is given directly to the student and the student can either use our APU who will take the student directly to the family's home or the student can make his/her own arrangements with the family regarding arrival. If the student makes own arrangements, he/she is responsible for transportation to the homestay family.
Check-out: The student will clean his/her room, bathroom and any additional necessary cleaning in the home prior to leaving. Keys are returned to the family. Students do not have to wait for Center staff to check out.

Check-in: Students will come to the Campus Crossings office. Our assistant will be there to help students check in and get settled. Students need to make sure they are on time to avoid delays. Also, please remember, the coordinator could be helping other students, so please wait in the office area. Very important: We must have arrival information before check in time!
Check-out: All rooms must be cleaned prior to departure. Students will meet with ISA to arrange times.

Center Registration

On the first day (Monday) of registration and orientation: All new students should arrive to the center at 8:15 am to register for classes, and attend orientation. Students will be emailed a link to the Placement Test prior to arrival.

If a holiday falls on a first Monday, ELS Centers will be open only to register newly arriving students.

What to Bring

  • Passport
  • A copy of I-20 Form
  • Funds to pay all remaining fees at ELS
  • Completed Health Form (if applicable)
  • Proof of medical insurance (if not purchased through ELS)

Immunization Requirements

*The TB test is a Middle Tennessee State University requirement, and all students are responsible for taking it upon arrival. Cost of the TB test is $60 and is not covered by ELS insurance.
