How do I arrange for Airport Pickup?

The ELS Central Admissions Department arranges the airport transfer, but the Counselor will need to provide important information about the student.

Please follow the following 2 steps:

Step 1:

Please have the following information regarding your student:

Student name (ELS ID number is also requested - if known)
ELS Center location to attend
Airline name (for arrival into the final destination)
Flight number and airport name (or code)
Port of Entry into the USA (if different from final destination)
Anticipated time of arrival and date

Step 2:

After collecting all of the information from Step 1, please email these details to your ELS Central Admissions Advisor.

Other Transportation from Airport

Taxis from Philadelphia Int'l airport will cost approximately $40 and above plus tip, with a travel time of 30 minutes. Taxi drivers should be given the following directions for dorm/student residence students: Go to 76 West to Exit 339 (Saint Joseph's University), take City Avenue to 52nd Street (turn left), Lannon Dormitory driveway is on the right.

	Check-in: Students should go directly to their homestay address. Homestay students should notify their Host Families or ELS of their arrival times so that families will know to be home when they arrive. Students can also call their Host Families when they arrive at the airport, bus station or train station, to say they are on their way.
	Check-out: Students need to clean their rooms by removing their possessions and throwing away any trash they have accumulated so that they Host Families can get the room ready for future guests. Keys should be returned to their Host Families.
SJU - Living & Learning Commons (Student Residence (on campus))	10:00am - 10:00pm Sunday before session start date	9:00am - 12:00pm Saturday after session end date
	Check-in: Upon arrival at Living & Learning Commons, please have the security officer contact the on-duty staff member/Resident Assistant (RA). The staff member will meet arriving students in the lobby to complete check-in process.
	Check-out: Students must inform the Center prior to departure. Students The staff member/RA will meet departing students to complete the check-out process. Students need to clean their rooms by removing their possessions and throwing away any trash they have accumulated so that facilities can get the room ready for future guests. Keys need to be returned to the RA or the key deposit will be forfeited.

Center Registration

On the first day (Monday) of registration and orientation: All new students should arrive to the center at 8:15 am to register for classes, and attend orientation. Students will be emailed a link to the Placement Test prior to arrival.

If a holiday falls on a first Monday, ELS Centers will be open only to register newly arriving students.
