Nearly two-thirds of Saint Joseph's students live in on-campus residence halls or on-campus apartments. Others live just off campus in University-sponsored apartments. There is no official housing for graduate students, but assistance in finding off-campus apartments is available.

Founded in 1851, Saint Joseph's University is a catholic Jesuit institution that advances the professional and personal ambitions of men and women by providing a demanding, yet supportive, educational experience. Saint Joseph's is home to approximately 4,850 traditional undergraduate day students, 650 College of Professional and Liberal Studies adult undergraduates, and 3,520 graduate and doctoral students.

Located on the edge of metropolitan Philadelphia, Saint Joseph's University provides ready access to the vast career opportunities and cultural resources of America's fifth-largest city, while affording students a cohesive and intimate campus experience. The Philadelphia Art Museum, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia Magic Gardens are all less than 15 minutes away from Saint Joseph's University. The Philadelphia International Airport is only 20 minutes away from campus.

Students can go shopping at the King of Prussia mall or head to the Adventure Aquarium located 20 minutes away from campus. Students can also find some of the best restaurants and farmers markets all within a few miles from campus.

Saint Joseph's University offers over 50 undergraduate day majors, 13 College of Professional & Liberal Studies programs, 28 graduate areas of study, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. Saint Joseph's University is approved by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. In addition, US News and World Report ranked Saint Joseph's University 11 among 193 master's university in the north. The Princeton Review has ranked the Haub School of Business as one of the "Best 290 Business Schools".

ELS Students

Undergraduate: $4,000/yr: ELS graduates receive scholarships for up to 4 years totaling $16,000. There are no special requirements. The awards are given at the time of matriculation with the official acceptance letter. (2018-2019)
