Student Life:

Students who want to become active and get to know others who are interested in similar types of co-curricular activities can join one of the 80+ active student clubs and organizations on campus. Categories of clubs include: academic, business, cultural, governing, Greek and special interest. These groups offer students a chance to network with faculty, staff, classmates and community members who have similar interests and experiences. Some academic and business organizations are either closely affiliated with academic areas at the University of La Verne and/or have national professional affiliation. Student organizations are an integral part of the student life on campus and reflect the diverse interests and activities of our student community.

The Office of Housing & Residential Life supports, enhances and empowers all students living in University residential facilities. Residential Life values and respects the diversity that each person brings to the residential community. Residential Life is committed to offering friendly and welcoming service. It also provides a positive living and learning environment by maintaining well-kept facilities, offering educational/ co-curricular programs, and providing competent staff committed to connecting with all the students served. Students may apply for housing after confirming their attendance

The University of La Verne; a four-year, comprehensive, private university, was founded in 1891. This Carnegie 1 Research Institution is located in northeast Los Angeles County in Southern California, just minutes away from Los Angeles, Pasadena and Orange County. La Verne is a vibrant, family-oriented community with a safe, small-town atmosphere that cherishes both its history and its vision for the future. Scholarship

International Students

Undergraduate:  $5,000 - $ 30,000: International students are automatically considered for a merit scholarship upon admission based on GPA. (2022-2023)            

ELS Students

Undergraduate:  $5,000 / year: A scholarship is awarded to ELS EAP Level 112 graduates. Students must present an ELS EAP Level 112 completion certificate. The maximum total scholarship amount is $20,000. Please contact the Center Director for specific details on scholarship offer. (2022-2023)
