      Area Description

      ELS Cleveland is located on the campus of Case Western Reserve University, a prestigious private university that is consistently ranked in the top 50 national universities by U.S. News & World Report. We are located in University Circle, the premier urban district of Cleveland, which was recently named one of the most beautiful places in the USA by Forbes magazine. Nowhere on earth can you find the same concentration of education, health care, arts, and cultural institutions located in one city neighborhood. The combination of ultra-modern architecture alongside 19th century mansions, all located in a green, park-like setting, gives this area a very distinctive atmosphere. The historic Little Italy neighborhood, with many restaurants, shops and galleries, is just a short walk away.

      Local Transportation

      Cleveland's public transportation provides routes throughout the city by both bus and train. A free campus shuttle bus stops in front of the ELS center and at the dormitory. Like most cities, service is more limited at night and on weekends.
