Introduction

Choosing to study English at ELS San Francisco, North Bay means studying in an inclusive environment on the park-like campus of Dominican University of California. You'll be studying in the charming and artsy small town of San Rafael, just north of downtown San Francisco, where the Golden Gate Bridge is a short distance away.
One of the unique parts about living in San Rafael is that you'll get to experience both small-and big-city environments. You can explore everything San Rafael has to offer, then take a short ferry or bus ride to various attractions around the San Francisco Bay Area!
