Housing
On-campus housing is available in conventional double- and single-room residence halls as well as one-, two-, three-, and four bedroom apartments. For those who prefer living off-campus, accommodations are plentiful, although all new students under the age of 21 are required to live in the university dormitories for two academic years. Transfer students with 54 or more credits re exempt from the campus housing policy. Food service is provided in multiple campus dining areas.

International students comprise nearly 30% of Florida Tech's undergraduate student body and 49% of our graduate student population. They represent more than 100 countries from around the world. Florida Tech's main campus spans 130 acres. Campus is located in Melbourne, just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, one hour east of Orlando and a three-hour drive north of Miami. The area is home to the most concentrated high-tech economy in the state and the fourth-largest high-tech workforce in the nation. Melbourne's attractive business climate is matched only by its natural resources including the Atlantic Ocean and Indian River Lagoon, which are ideal for scientific study and research. The climate is generally sunny and temperate; the average daily temperature is 76°F/24°C and severe storms are infrequent.

Scholarship
International Students
Undergraduate: Up to $10,000: Academic Scholarships are available, renewable with 2.6/4.0 GPA. No application required. Decision is made at the time of admission. SAT required for award. (2022-2023)
Graduate: $4,000 - $6,000: Annual award to be used toward the fall and spring semester tuition fees. It requires full time enrollment each semester with a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester. It is renewable for the second year of the degree program if full time enrollment and a GPA of 3.2 is maintained at the end of each academic year. Graduate scholarships are awarded by the scholarship review committee and based on merit. (2019-2020)
